Crafting Table
Since we have been making the crafting table in Minecraft right after beginning our world, how can we forget it this time? So let us start this walkthrough by making our crafting table since there will never be a day we will go by without using our beloved crafting table.
So, to make a crafting table, we are going to need wood planks. Since it is possible you already have them in your inventory, but just in case you don’t, here is how to obtain them.
We make wood planks from wood logs. To get wood logs directly, we will need to break the trees down to collect some wood logs for ourselves. Once we have wood logs ready, we can move forward to craft the wood planks.
[Now one thing that is notable, is that the wood logs can be taken from any sort of tree in Minecraft, it does not necessarily have to be birch tree or jungle tree or oak tree or spruce tree, etc.]
As we have wood logs ready, let us now convert them into wood planks. To do so, we are going to be using the crafting section of our inventory.
To turn wood logs into planks, simply put the logs into one square of the crafting section, and on the resulting square, we will obtain our planks.
One wood log provides us with 4 wood planks.
So ready with our planks, we can finally make our crafting table now. Now to construct the crafting table, we will again use the crafting section.
Now place the freshly obtained wood planks that are in our inventory, into the crafting section, in the following pattern.
One plank in each of the four squares of the crafting section in the inventory
This will be our easiest direct procedure to obtain the crafting table.
Now ready with our crafting table, let us move on to obtaining the next important part, that is, the cobblestone.
-
Cobblestone
Cobblestone is one of the most used blocks for building and constructing that we use, due to its super-high availability and sturdiness. But one more special feature of cobblestone is the number of ways it can be used. From being able to turn into stone, smooth stone, slabs, etc.
That being known, let us now collect cobblestone out in the wild and get back to further converting it into required stone types.
-
Furnace
Now since we have collected hordes of cobblestone, let us use a small amount of it to build the furnace, since, without it, we can not further advance in our conquest of making chiseled stone bricks.
To make a furnace, the procedure is like this. Place 8 blocks of cobblestone in the crafting table, one in each square except the center one, leave it empty.
Once we have this furnace ready with us, we can further melt our stones into desired blocks.
-
CRAFTING
Now with all our items ready, let us begin the hard-working process of finally turning, melting, and crafting the cobblestone raw material to the final required chiseled stone blocks. We will be needing all our equipment mentioned till now, the furnace, the crafting table, and the cobblestone, along with some expertise to finish our Minecraft chiseled stone brick recipe.
1. Cobblestone to Stone
Since making the chiseled stone brick is a long procedure, the reason being the multiple processes required in between.
To make chiseled stone brick, we need to first turn cobblestone into stone. So let’s do that, by melting our cobblestone in the furnace. (The same furnace that we built using cobblestone only)
By simply placing cobblestone on the subject square, that is the upper square of the furnace, and coal (for fuel) in the lower square of the furnace, we can start the smelting process of cobblestone, and within a few minutes, we will have plenty of stone to work with.
2. Stone to Brick
The next step, that is, for turning our stone into stone bricks, we simply are going to use our crafting table.
For making stone bricks from stone, place the stones that you melted from the furnace, in a 2×2 square pattern. Or, in two squares in any row, and another two squares right below the previously placed stones. So that there are 4 stones placed in 4 squares together.
Ready with our stone bricks, let us now move forward.
3. Brick to Slab
Now we wish too that this process was shorter, but it is what it is. So now that we are ready with our stone bricks, let us convert them into stone brick slabs. Again, using the crafting table.
To make slabs of stone bricks, we will simply place 3 stone bricks in a single row from left to right, one in each square.
As shown in the pattern above, we can use 3 bricks to form 6 slabs.
At last, ready with our stone brick slabs, let us finally make our chiseled stone brick.
4. Slab to Chiseled Stone Brick
Finally, the last step of our guide. Now that we are only left with stone brick slabs, we just need our crafting table, or even the crafting section of our default inventory, to put together two slabs to convert into one Chiseled Stone Brick.
So while holding slabs if you are wondering how to make chiseled stone, do not worry, just place two slabs, one on top of the other, in a crafting table, or in the crafting section of the inventory, and voila! We are ready with our chiseled stone bricks! Â
Using two slabs to combine, will result in one chiseled stone brick.
And that, at last, is our chiseled stone brick in Minecraft.
Conclusion
So this was our today’s detailed and easy-to-guide for learning how to make chiseled stone brick in Minecraft. Although it is a little complicated process, with one or two trials, we can easily get a grasp on it.
