How To Make A Bucket In Minecraft?
[Skip directly to step 4 if you already have iron ingots]
-
Gather iron ore
Iron ore is abundantly found in the biomes of Minecraft, sometimes easily on the walls of a cave, or even if you go mining, it can be easily found in levels as high as around 50, or even sea level per se.
The picture above shows what an iron ore block looks like, a little more yellowish and glittering tone of the ore block will be of gold, and a darker black ore would be of coal. But this brownish tint is the signature of Iron ore blocks.
-
Build a furnace
A furnace is a necessity in Minecraft, for cooking our food, to melting metal, is almost used all the time. To make a furnace, place 8 cobblestone blocks in the crafting table, leaving the center block empty.
You can also use a blast furnace, as it makes the work faster. Although making the blast furnace requires iron, which if you already have then you can skip directly to the last step.
-
Make Iron Ingots
Now that we have our furnace ready, our work is almost done. Just place the iron ores that you have collected and into the upper square of the furnace. The lower square is for fuel, ideally, we use coal as it has the highest efficiency, but it also works with wood planks and logs but they are not very good as they burn out easily.
Just wait a few seconds and we are ready with our iron ingots!
-
Final Step
Finally, after all our adventures getting the iron ore, cobblestone, and making the furnace, we are ready for our final step with iron ingots.
All we have left to do, is use three iron ingots, play them in the crafting table in the following order –
One in the top left corner and one in the top right corner, and one in the middle, as you can see in the picture below.
Now you can see the bucket formed in the resulting square of the crafting table, left-click on it, and drag it to your inventory, voila! We have our iron bucket!
Conclusion
So in the end, we have learned how to make a bucket in Minecraft. Mining iron ore, building a furnace, melting to ingots, then finally using the crafting table to make our bucket, has been a mini adventure itself in the world of Minecraft. Congratulations! Steve would be proud of you.
